Trimming & Surface Decor

Intermediate: 90 minutes (It's expected students will be able to pull 5" walls independently.)

Come learn finishing techniques for more refined pieces on the potter's wheel. We will focus on what is involved in trimming to create a foot on a piece of pottery. We will also demonstrate techniques necessary to add texture and surface decoration to basic cylinders. Glazing a finished piece from class is included in the price even though it takes place after class is completed and the trimmed piece has been bisque-fired. Students will be notified when piece is fired and must be picked up within 30 days.

Refund Policy: Here at Juliet Bravo Pottery, we run our classes based off registration. If you are unable to attend your chosen class, please inform Jason or Jessica Buddin via email (julietbravopottery@gmail.com) 4 business days prior to the session for a full refund. Requests made after this cut-off (4 business days prior to the session) will not receive a refund. We do not prorate or schedule make-up days for student absences. 

If Juliet Bravo Pottery cancels a class due to inclement weather or staff illness, we will contact students via email to schedule a makeup class or offer a refund.
