Raku Firing Workshop

Raku Firing Workshop

$125.00
date of class

You might be surprised to learn how accessible RAKU firing can be! Learn the process of using a Raku kiln and participate in the group firing to include 2-4 pieces of your own work. Welcome a guest artist/instructor (Tony Smith -- Red Hill Pottery) who has been creating fascinating pottery for decades as he guides the group through the process. He will share his expertise (tricks & tips) in a straight-forward, easy to understand manner with our firing taking place in his personal studio in Six Mile, SC.

This workshop is perfect for potters ready to move beyond typical cone 6 electric firing and experience the joy of catching things on fire-- in a safe manner, of course. Limited space is available-- so waitlist reservations can be added once the spots are filled in case of last minute changes in scheduling.

Refund Policy: Here at Juliet Bravo Pottery, we run our classes based off registration. If you are unable to attend your chosen class, please inform Jason or Jessica Buddin via email (julietbravopottery@gmail.com) 4 business days prior to the session for a full refund. Requests made after this cut-off (4 business days prior to the session) will not receive a refund. We do not prorate or schedule make-up days for student absences.

If Juliet Bravo Pottery cancels a class due to inclement weather or staff illness, we will contact students to schedule a makeup class or offer a refund.
