Pottery Wheel Basics

$275 total= 2 hour classes for 6 weeks in a row.

Come learn the technique for centering clay on a potter's wheel. We will focus on independently centering a 1 pound ball of wedged clay.  Then we will learn the technique for pulling up to 3+" walls on a potter's wheel. Students will also be introduced to clay preparation with wedging and reclaiming their clay for later use. Students can expect 2-3 pieces by the end of the class (that will be fired and available for glazing at a later date as we have kiln space). Glazing finished pieces from class is included in the price even if it takes place after classes are completed. Please be aware that we are unable to reschedule missed classes. Students will be notified when pieces are fired and must be picked up within 30 days.

Refund Policy: Here at Juliet Bravo Pottery, we run our classes based off registration. If you are unable to attend your chosen class, please inform Jason or Jessica Buddin via email (julietbravopottery@gmail.com) 4 business days prior to the first session for a full refund. Requests made after this cut-off (4 business days prior to the first session) will not receive a refund. We do not prorate or schedule make-up days for student absences. 

If Juliet Bravo Pottery cancels a class due to inclement weather or staff illness, we will contact students via email to schedule a makeup class or offer a refund.
